What is Skills Accelerator?

Skills Accelerator are intensive, focused class designed to give students a significant boost in specific academic areas. In partnership with Merryhill School, our skill accelerator classes provide targeted instruction and practice in key subjects like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, and Essay Writing, empowering students with the confidence and skills needed to excel in the upcoming school year.

Students will develop crucial executive functions such as organization and focus, receive academic guidance to improve study habits, and learn the importance of weekly planning and weekly evaluation for academic success. The classes also emphasize how to effectively review class materials and develop strong test skills, all within a structured environment aimed at fostering a positive attitude towards learning and combating summer learning loss.

When is Skills Accelerator?

Fall 2025 Math classes are from 3:30-4:30 PM PST. 6th-grade sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 7th-8th-grade sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
